Vaccination FAQs
Yes, vaccinations are very safe. While mild side effects like temporary soreness or lethargy can occur, serious reactions are rare. The benefits of protection against dangerous diseases far outweigh the minimal risks.
This depends on the vaccine, your pet's age, and lifestyle. Puppies and kittens need a series of vaccines, while adult pets typically need boosters every 1-3 years. We'll create a customized schedule for your pet.
Even indoor pets need core vaccinations like rabies (required by law) and FVRCP/DHPP. Indoor pets can still be exposed to diseases through open doors, windows, or if they escape. We'll help determine which vaccines your indoor pet needs.
